3.7 Million Dollars Per Acre To Convert Land To A Park

An unidentified lady from the audience stated, “Uhm, the thing that I am most disappointed about is the lack that you admitted Neal, is the lack of green space. Uhm a gathering space where everybody can gather or just the lack of green space.”

The senior partner for Torti Gallas & Partners, Neal Pate explained, “The issue with the thing with green space is this. You know I actually think there is a decent amount of it in there, uhm when you consider the river front park.”

Pate went on to say, “If you all think you need more park space that is fine but let me give you a, let me give you a number, 3.7 million dollars per acre. That is pretty much what the value of the land becomes to convert it to park.”
